I am George Lorentzos, a Full-Stack Software Engineer with 7 years of programming experience, having started at the age of 10. Now 17, I possess a strong foundation in both front-end and back-end development.

Now self-taught, I will begin my BSc (Hons) in Computer Science at Metropolitan College this year and plan to complete the full program, including the master’s, in four years.

I developed Loqui, a chat application built with FastAPI, React, TypeScript, Redis, Docker, and Celery. This project helped me improve my system design thinking and deepen my understanding of React and TypeScript, while gaining hands-on experience in building a full-fledged, real-world application that addresses all core requirements of a modern chat platform.

I developed Cursus, a taxi app that lets users instantly request the nearest ride without authentication or a driver app. The app requires zero tech from drivers, keeping them safe and focused on driving, while remaining simple and easy to use for all ages.

I built Vendo to master modern e-commerce features like order history, payments, and refunds. Through this project, I strengthened my full-stack skills, learned to build secure and scalable platforms, and gained hands-on experience delivering real-world solutions.

Specula is a system I developed that monitors roads in real-time, capturing images of vehicles, identifying license plates, detecting car colors, and logging timestamps for traffic analysis and monitoring.
